Selling
There are several ways to turn your loot into money on WarpedRealm. The quickest is the built-in /sell menu and the wider sellwand system, which buy your items at fixed server prices. For better deals you can sell to other players through the Auction House or set up your own chest shop.
This page covers the fixed-price selling tools. For player-to-player trading, see the Auction House.
The /sell menu
Run /sell to open the sell menu — a chest-style GUI you drop items into.
- Drag in the items you want to sell.
- Click the emerald button to see a summary of what you'll earn.
- Click the emerald block to confirm the sale.
WARNING
All sales are final — there are no refunds. Only items the server actually buys have value; anything worthless is left in the menu and returned to you when you close it.
Prefer to clear your whole inventory at once? Use /sellall — it sells everything of value in your inventory in one go. Because there's no take-backs, it asks you to confirm with /sellall confirm first.
Most stackable materials have a price: ores, ingots, blocks, crops, wood, mob drops, fish, food, and many more. Tools, armour, and custom items generally aren't bought through /sell.
Daily Boosts
Each day the sell menu rotates one or more Daily Boost categories — themed groups of items (mining, farming, fishing, nether materials, and so on) whose sell prices are temporarily increased. Active boosts are listed at the top of the menu, and boosted items show their bumped-up price right in the sale summary.
- There's always at least one boost active.
- There's a chance for a second boost to be active alongside it (up to two at once).
Check the menu before a big sell-off — if your haul matches the day's boost, you'll earn noticeably more.
Sellwands
A sellwand lets you sell the entire contents of a container without opening the sell menu. Hold the wand and:
- Left-click a container to inspect it — a hologram shows the total value of everything inside.
- Right-click a container to sell everything in it at once.
Sellwands work on chests, barrels, hoppers, and shulker boxes (including shulkers stored inside other containers). They use the same server prices as /sell, and they benefit from the day's Daily Boosts too.
TIP
A sellwand is the fastest way to cash in a storage room — fill a few chests with loot, then right-click each one.
A few things to know:
- Bound to you — the first player to use a sellwand becomes its owner, and only the owner can use it.
- Limited uses — most sellwands have a set number of uses. When they run out, the wand stops working until it's recharged (it isn't destroyed). Some special wands have unlimited uses.
- Confirm to sell — by default you right-click a container twice to confirm a sale, which stops accidental sells.
Where to get sellwands
| Source | Wand | Uses |
|---|---|---|
| Donor ranks (Gilded → Warped) | Limited-use sellwand | 10–50, by rank |
| Store Specials | Unlimited Sell Wand | Unlimited |
Each donor rank comes with a limited-use sellwand — 10 uses at Gilded, scaling up to 50 at Warped. For a wand that never runs out, the Unlimited Sell Wand is a one-off purchase from Store Specials.
Boost your income
While a Sell Bonus booster is active, you earn extra money from both /sell and sellwands — +10% or +25% depending on the booster. Sell boosters are server-wide, so if anyone activates one, everybody selling gets the bonus. If you're sitting on a big haul, it's worth waiting for one to fire.
Player shops (QuickShop)
Beyond selling to the server, you can buy and sell with other players using chest shops. A chest shop is a normal chest with a shop sign on it that anyone can trade with — even while you're offline.
To set one up at a high level:
- Place a chest where you want your shop.
- Hold the item you want to trade and left-click the chest (without sneaking).
- Follow the prompt to set whether you're selling or buying, and the price.
A shop sign is created on the chest showing the item, price, and remaining stock. Other players trade by left-clicking the sign or chest; right-clicking opens the owner control panel, where you can adjust the price, stock, and shop settings later.
You can manage shops with the /qs command (also /shop, /chestshop, or /cshop).
INFO
Chest shops can't be created in every world — they're disabled in the wilderness, resource, and Utopia worlds, and in the Nether and End spawn areas. Build your shop in a town or claimed area where shops are allowed.
